She said, "I've seen you in before"
I said, "I've been a time or two"
She said, "Hello, my name is Jo
Meet my twin sister Lou"

"And we're both feeling kinda tonight
You're the cowboy in this place
And if up for a rodeo
I'll put a big Texas smile on face"

I said, "Girls, I ain't as good as I was
I got a few on me now
But was a time, back in my prime
I could really lay it down"

And if you some love tonight
Then I might have enough
I ain't as as I once was
But I'm as good as I ever was

I still hang out with my best friend
I've known him since we were at school
night he had a few shots
Got in a spot, hustlin' a game of pool

With a couple of redneck
One big fat biker man
I heard yell across the room
"Hey buddy, how a helping hand?"

I said, "Dave, I as good as I once was
My how the years have
But there was a time back in my
When I could hold my own"

"But if you fight tonight
Guess those boys don't all that tough
I ain't as good as I was
But I'm as good once as I was"

I used to be hell on
Back when I was a man
Now my says, "You can't do this boy"
But my says, "Oh, yes you can"

I as good as I once was
just the cold hard truth
I still throw a few back, talk a little
When I'm bulletproof

So don't you double dog me now
'Cause I'd have to call bluff
I ain't as as I once was
But I'm as once as I ever was

May not be as I once was
But I'm as good as I ever was
