But one couldn't stop, like he had a disease

So he cold dashed and ran around the

He ran by a tree, he saw this sister
A shot for the head, he shot back but he her

Looked around good and expectations
So he decided, he'd head for the stations
But she was coming and he a left
He was runnin' top speed he was outta breath

Knocked an old man and swore he killed him
he made his move to an abandoned building
Ran up the stairs up to the top
Opened up the door there, guess who he

Dave the dope fiend dope
Who don't know the meaning of water nor
He said, "I need bullets, up, run!"
The dope fiend brought back a shotgun

He went outside but there was all over
Then he dipped a car, a stolen Nova
Raced up the doing 83
into a tree near a university

Escaped though the car was battered
and all the cops scattered
Ran out of bullets and still had
a pregnant lady, got out the automatic

Pointed at her head and he the gun was full o' lead
He told the cops, "Back off or here's dead"
Deep in his heart he knew he was
So he let the lady go and he to run on

sounded, he seemed astounded
Before the little boy got surrounded
He dropped the gun, so the glory
And this is the way I end this story

He was only seventeen, in a dream
The cops the kid, I still hear him scream
This funny, so don't ya dare laugh
Just another 'bout the wrong path
Straight 'n narrow or soul gets cashed
