Luyện nghe bài hát Colonel Forbin's Ascent

Colonel stared up at the mountain
And wiped the beads of sweat
That glistened on his
His tired were buried in the quagmire
And his eyes saw all that lay between him
And of his vow

And he felt his fingers wrap around he root
And pulled his body
To a sea mossy boulder
And he dragged his weary up the mountain

And he climbed so
He climbed so
Ahead,

he heard the crack of thunder
And the rocks began to overhead
And down the mountain to the
Dismal that lay beneath the jagged cliffs
which his path had led

And the began to quake beneath his feet
And the mighty mountain changed his eyes
And he stood a sea of dust and rocks and stones
Cascading down the
And a thousand birds headed for the sky

The sacred creed be yours
And if you until tomorrow
The creed will be yours to devour
to seize and to obey, obey

When the dust had cleared, the colonel up his head
And was to his knees by a blazing beam of light
And he saw the silhouette that stood him
And he bowed in
Trembling in the shadow of the legend's form

Icculus the prophet stood his eyes
down on Colonel Forbin
Where he in the puddles and the muck
And he quietly him

And he spoke so
He so slowly
He said,

Colonel I know why you've come here
And I'll help you your quest to gain the knowledge that you lack
I call upon my faithful the mockingbird
To fly and seize the helping book and bring it to your

And a tree of knowledge in your soul grow
And the Helping Friendly Book will the seed
But I you that all knowledge seeming innocent and pure
Becomes a deadly in the hands of avarice and greed

The sacred creed will be
And if you wait tomorrow
The sacred creed will be to devour
Yours to and to obey, obey
