Old Friends

There's a ring around the moon tonight
And chilling wind
But I don't have to be afraid
Cause we're old friends
There's a heartbeat of our Mother Earth
And it's so deep within
Oh, and I'm never short of company
Cause we're old friends
Chorus:
So let it snow 'til it's ten feet deep
Let the mist roll in
'Til I am too blind to see
Let the waters rise
Encircling me
Old Friends -- we'll always be
And Heaven is a perfect place
At the journey's end
Oh and I'm looking forward to that day
Cause we're old friends
(Chorus)
Old friends ... you and me
Old friends ... we will be
Old friends ... you and me
Old friends ... we will be
Old friends ... you and me
Old friends ... we will be
