Luyện nghe bài hát Star Of The County Down

Near Banbridge in the County Down
One last July
A boreen green came a colleen
And she smiled as she me by

She looked so sweet from her two feet
To the sheen of her nut hair
Such a coaxing elf, I shook myself
For to see I was there

From Bantry Bay down to Quay and
From to Dublin Town
No maid I've seen like the colleen
I met in the County Down

As she sped, sure I scratched my head
And I looked with a rare
And I says, I, to a passer-by
"Whose the maid the nut brown hair?"

He smiled at me and he says's, he
"That's the gem of crown
Young McCann from the banks of a Bann
She's the of the County Down"

Bantry Bay down to Derry Quay and
From Galway to Town
No I've seen like the brown colleen
That I met in the County

At the Harvest Fair be surely there
I'll dress in my Sunday
My shoes shone and my hat cocked
Right for a smile from my nut rose

No pipe I'll smoke, no horse yoke
Till my plough turns rust brown
Till a bride, by my own fireside
Sits the star of the Down

From Bantry Bay down to Derry and
From Galway to Dublin
No maid I've like the brown colleen
That I met in the County

From Bantry Bay to Derry Quay and
From Galway to Dublin
No maid seen like the brown colleen
I met in the County Down
