fell within his scope
"I see," he, "the Elephant is very like a rope!"

Disputed and long
Each in his
stiff and strong
Each was partly in the

So often wars,
The disputants, I
Rail on in ignorance
Of what other mean
And prate an Elephant
Not one of has seen!
