Luyện nghe bài hát The Talking Leaves

Sequoia's winters sixteen
Silent spirit clean
He walked at his father's
Across the smoking battle
Where red and men lay all around
So here had died

The wind had around
Snow leaves upon the ground
Not like leaves from trees
said, "What can this be?"
"What's the thing here I see?"
"From where come leaves these?"

turned to his father's eyes
And he said, "Father wise
From where come such snow leaves
With such strange marks upon these
Not even the wise owl put them there
So strange snow white leaves"

His shielding his concern
Resenting the knowledge yearned
Crumbled the white leaves
He said, "When I explain then done
are talking leaves, my son
The white men's leaves"

The white man takes a of black and red
And an feather from the eagle's bed
And he makes track marks
And the on the leaves they say
Carry to his brother far away
And his brother knows in his heart

see these marks and they understand
The truth in the of the far off man
The enemies can't them
Said father, "Son
They weave bad on these talking leaves
Leave things to them"

Then walking lightly
Followed his quietly
But so was he
If the white man talks on
Why not the

Vanished from his father's
Sequoia went place to place
But he not forget
after year he worked on and on
Till finally he cut stone
The Cherokee

Sequoia's by now was white
His eyes began to their light
But he taught all who believe
That the Indian's could be written down
Just as the white there on the ground
And he left us talking leaves
