And

No headstone mark our passing
No shall pay tribute
No tithes to those who to blackness
No offerings for those in this barren land

The bells toll only within the strata of lost
Earth, death, time and our parting hymns
The circle has no end - our solace, no
Peace is only found in unheralded, desolate kingdoms
the silence of the soils
Amongst the grave of the forgotten

forged in peat
A of bog oak
Shivering flesh cupped in the shriveled of the fenland mausoleum
Welcomed by a womb of earth
Coiling like a foetus, I succumb to the
Amputating the
Embracing a well of

I to dissolve into the infinite
Where past, present and future are bereft of
Where echo of my torrid material self
Drips slowly a sink hole of desolation
Where reflection of the flesh
Causes a surge of misery

A patchwork of memories floats before my eye
And it is with the gratitude of a lifetime I witness fade
Dissipating and drifting as morning
for all time

I pray for
My will craves void
And in this stark of dead fen-flesh
I have solace
I have my reward
I have found
I found my blessed death
